I'm a Ph.D chemist trained in a prestigious US university and have extensive experience in teaching and tutoring in high school sciences, freshman General Chemistry, sophomore Organic Chemistry, and advanced chemistry courses. Through one-on-one and group tutoring, the subjects will be presented in a way that caught interest, clarified difficult topics and led student(s) through complex areas, and put knowledge into context so that its relevance was apparent. As a chemistry educator, espec... [more]
I have a Ph.D in organic chemistry and MBA in Management Information Systems. I'm an adjunct faculty member teaching Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Chemistry for Healthcare Professionals at the college level. Starting January 2015, I tutored many college students and high students, helped them improve understanding , retain knowledge and improve overall grade.
I am a Ph.D chemist with a major in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, but never a physician nor took a MCAT. I am a certified MCAT instructor in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry with The Princeton Review. Therefore, I am able to tutor both chemistry parts in MCAT preparation specifically.
I earned a Ph.D in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis. When I was in Graduate School, I served as a graduate teaching-research assistant for six years. Also in my post-graduate career, I worked in biomedical research labs and I conducted, on a regular basis, one-on-one teaching and mentoring undergraduate researchers, graduate students and other trainees. Starting Fall 2014, I teach Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Chemistry for Healthcare Professionals at The University of Tampa and Hillsborough Community College.
