MCAT

I have Kaplan and ExamKrackers materials and their test-prep expertise. In particular I have taken the Kaplan courses for whole MCAT prep and have developed my own techniques mixed with Examkracker's content review. I am particularly fluent/strong in the sciences but I can advise somewhat on Verbal strategies. For reference, below are my scores as taken on the new MCAT being put on trial runs now in 2013; I can also advise on the new section content and what to prepare for. College Counseling

I have counseled multiple family members and high school students (as a teacher) in college selections and admissions. Many of my students received full-scholarships to various institutions from my recommendations to their applications. I have also mentored numerous pre-meds in medical college selections and admissions.

I am currently a certified science teacher in New Jersey. I received a 200/200 on Praxis II General Science and a 170/200 on Praxis II Chemistry. I also received a certificate for high rank in General Science, and was 2 points away from achieving it in chemistry.


Nutrition

Passed USMLE Steps 1, 2, and 3 where basic nutritional science is qualified. Also I consulted and coached several patients on meeting nutritional goals. Taught medical students general biochemistry/nutrition for board examinations.


Common Core

I was a high school teacher trained in Common Core. I taught for approximately 4 years and was also trained in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) which was a supplementary component to Common core (Because common core does not address science standards yet).
