I love grammar. Having worked as a language teacher for so many years, I can say that I pretty much got an explanation for every grammar issue in English, French, Italian and German ;)
I have taken French for 7 years in High School in Germany and then 4 more years in college in Germany. I have always loved the language because I used to live about 45 mins driving distance from France. Ever since I started French, I worked as a tutor for my entire high school. This continued even after my graduation. After college, I worked as a translator, but soon afterwards I discovered that teaching languages is much more fun for me.
German is my native language and my true passion. I grew up in Germany, always tutored kids from other countries ever since I was 12 years old. I have taught adult ed from age 20 on. In 2010 I got my certificate for teaching German as a foreign language. After that, I taught in Brazil and then in the USA. I taught in multiple schools, colleges, online institutions etc.
English is my first foreign language. I have taken it in high school for 9 years, and then in college for another 4 years. I have always loved it. After college I obtained my certificate for teaching English as a foreign language (Celta). I have tutored English since 6th grade for my entire high school, then I worked in adult ed in Germany and Brazil. I translated for multiple companies. In 2011 I came to the USA to continue teaching ESL here.
