All of my toddlers could do pre-school to first grade work when they started school.
As a teacher of 20 plus years, I have taught and teach study skills everyday as I show my students how to read, take notes, comprehend, evaluate, etc. The students that I get in my alternative school generally come with poor work and study skills, and it is my job to help them improve in these areas so that they can better help themselves when they go back to their home school.
