I am a resident at Jamaica Hospital. I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery at NYU after receiving my bachelors in biology from Yeshiva University. I have years of tutoring experience dating back to my high school days, primarily in the sciences, but also in algebra, trig, writing/proofreading, and basic Spanish. I graduated college with a BA in biology. I am currently a dental student at NYU, and my curriculum includes advanced courses in cell biology, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, histology, and genetics. I was an excellent biology student in high school, scoring a 5 on the AP exam and an A in the course.


Chemistry

I received grades of A- and A in general chemistry 1 and 2 respectively, and I scored in the 91st percentile on the chemistry section of the Dental Admission Test.

I have always been an excellent writer, and have helped countless friends and classmates with their essays throughout high school and college. I scored a 710 on the writing section of the SAT and received A's in my college English composition courses.


Anatomy

I completed a Head and Neck Anatomy course in the Fall of 2013 with a grade of A+. Towards the end of the semester, I tutored fellow classmates in preparation for our final, in addition to an international dentist studying for the American licensing exams.


SAT Math

I scored a 700, 710, and 710 on the reading, math, and writing sections of the SAT respectively. I taught an SAT prep course over the summer between college and dental school at Gold Key Academics in Staten Island.


Proofreading

I scored over 700 on the writing section of the SAT and recieved grades of A- in my two semesters of English composition. I have worked as a tutor at my college's writing center and have written three rounds of admissions essays.

I taught a class in SAT Reading and SAT Writing at Gold Key Academics in Staten Island over the summer of 2013. As part of my interview, I was required to take the reading and writing parts of an SAT and I scored a 700 and 710 respectively.

I took the DAT last summer with the following scores: PAT 20, Math 21, Reading 22, Bio 23, Chem 22, Orgo 22, Total Science 22, Academic Average 22. My overall score was in the 97th percentile. I currently attend NYU College of Dentistry, with expected graduation in Spring 2017


Genetics

I took a course in genetics this past semester and received an A-. As a biology major, many of my other courses have also touched on topics in genetics. The course included transmission genetics, molecular genetics, and population genetics.


Regents

I am a college graduate with a degree in biology, which includes coursework in math and chemistry. I excelled on all my Regents exams in high school and continued to do well in college. I got a 5 on AP biology, and scored in the 91st, 96th, and 97th percentiles on the chemistry, math, and biology sections of the Dental Admission Test respectively.
