I have had 7 years of chemistry, which I love. I have helped my high school chem teacher in his research. I enjoy teaching science.
I studied world history for 12 years in France (1st to 12th grade) and had a high score on my French Baccalaureate (high enough to meet Wheaton College's requirements) History is an interesting course which is not limited to what we learn in school, and I would like to help students to understand how interesting it is. Since I lived in an area touched by World War 2 (the first V2 was launched 1.5 miles from my house) I have a passion for history that I would like to share.
I grew up in France and followed the french schooling system all the way through my schooling (until college). I have been a french teacher's assistant at Wheaton College. I scored an 800 on the french SAT subject exam. French is my mother language.
I really enjoy teaching. When I was younger I disliked reading, and I want to help people to overcome that feeling. Reading is one of my favorite activities.
Math is an subject that I would love to help children understand better. I have tutored math to elementary school children when I was in high school.
I am currently in Wheatonimprov' at Wheaton College. I have been in theater classes since 4th grade and have participated in multiple plays. In high school, I taught a couple acting classes. I would love to help people to get better at acting.
I just graduated with a BS in biology. My specialty was botany. I was also awarded the Raymen and Ruth Johnston endowed scholarship for excellence in botany. I also worked in the greenhouse for a long time.
