Currently, I am a senior at Illinois College majoring in History and Secondary Education and minoring in Psychology and Sociology, possessing a 3.8 GPA. Government & Politics
As a student with a 3.8 GPA, I have had to work extensively in creating effective study skills. Aside from this, I am a student in the TRiO program at my school, a program established to assists students succeed in school. I have attended workshops and conferences on how to help students succeed in school. Ultimately, I am dedicated to assisting students discover what study habits will best help them succeed.
At Illinois College, I am completing a Sociology minor. In all of my courses, I have received an "A." Because of my academic achievements, I was selected to join the Sociology Honors Society as a sophomore in college. Overall, I enjoy Sociology, and I love helping students understand how sociological factors impact the world we live in today.
When I complete my undergraduate career at Illinois College, I will be qualified to teach 6-12 grade social studies in the state of Illinois. I have taken every introductory level social science course (History, World History, Psychology, Sociology, U.S. Government, etc.) at my college, and I received an A in all of them. My passion is the social sciences, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge on this subject matter with others.
