I earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music and, shortly thereafter, in 1985, became the music director of the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra - a position that I still hold today. I also teach piano, violin, and voice at The Music Connection in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and have taught various music courses at Governors State University. Being a voice instructor, ear training is one of the most important concepts to be mastered by any vocalist.


General Music

I earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music and, shortly thereafter (in 1985) became the music director of the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra - a position that I still hold today - and have taught various general music courses at Governors State University.


Piano

I have performed in over 100 operas with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City and currently teach voice at The Music Connection and have taught various music courses at Governors State University.
