Thank you to all my students, for continually allowing me to enhance your mathematics experience, and for rating me 5 out of 5 stars every time! I've had many math professors throughout undergrad and graduate school and I've found that, although they all know what they're talking about and are all very intelligent, what makes a math teacher great is understanding that not everyone understands things the same way he/she does. I have excelled in courses in Ordinary Differential Equations in both undergraduate and graduate school, as well as partial differential equations at the graduate level. Also, I have tutored students in ODE's for over ten years.
I worked for close to three years as a pension actuary and have passed the first three exams given by the Society of Actuaries, which rigorously cover such topics as calculus, probability, interest theory, modeling, and financial derivatives.
I have passed the University of Pittsburgh's PhD preliminary exam in linear algebra, and my Master's thesis investigated a recent approach to the Riemann Hypothesis involving convergence in an infinite-dimensional linear space. Also, I have tutored all levels of linear algebra for over ten years.
