I have twenty years of teaching experience with students at all levels of math and physics. I am available to tutor online or in person. I am very patient and know all sorts of little tricks to make math and physics easier to do and understand. I also am very experienced using software such as Geometer's Sketchpad and Mathematica to make concepts come to life. Hope to hear from you!... [more]
I have a Master's degree in engineering from UC Berkeley and have taught AP Computer Science at University High School in San Francisco as well as Crystal Springs School on the peninsula. In addition, I developed and marketed Security Force which was written in PASCAL. C, and assembly code. Finally, I did years of consulting -- writing (coding) customized solutions for companies in Silicon Valley.
Back when Fortran was popular, I did my entire masters thesis in magnetic resonance research in FORTRAN. I have over 1000 hours of experience in it. Thank you.
I have a Master's in Engineering from UC Berkeley. I have also worked for Wolfram Research as a teacher at the Mathematica Summer Camp. During this time, I taught students 1 on 1 for three straight weeks helping them develop (code) projects in Mathematica, version 8. In addition, I curated over 5000 Mathematica projects and cross referenced them with the Common Core standards. Finally, I have developed many of my own demonstrations in Mathematica.
