I have over six years of tutoring and teaching experience. While I was working on my masters degree in Biophysical Chemistry, I concurrently taught at Georgia State University. My area of expertise is Middle School Science, High School Chemistry and AP Chemistry, College level Introductory Chemistry and General Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry.
I am a native Russian speaker with Russian being my first language. I lived in Russia until I was 19 years old. Being bilingual (Russian and English) I understand from personal experience what it means to learn a foreign language and I have several methods that will help students learn the new language efficiently and with pleasure. In addition, I successfully studied Spanish as a third language and I now able to understand and speak intermediate Spanish.
I have taken the MCAT before and I am well trained in the science areas covered on the test: general chemistry/physics and organic chemistry/biology.
