I studied under Stylianos Spydidakis at UC Davis in European History with double emphasis on Military History and Ancient History. I'm a member of the Richard III society.

As well as being a former newspaper reporter and freelance writer/editor, a short story "of mine won honorable mention in the International Literary Awards. My work has appeared in Freelance Writer's Report, Dragon Magazine, and the Concord Transcript.

As a result of my studies in European History (with one of two concentrations in ancient history) I did a wide variety of readings in ancient authors. During my course of study I read primary source material from authors such as Plutarch, Polybius, Herodotus, and Livy.
