I am a former Chemistry Professor. I have worked for: University of Wisconsin - River Falls, Minneapolis Community and Technical College, and St. Thomas University. I have a Master's in Chemistry and did work towards my Ph.D. specializing in Organic Chemistry. For seven years I was a stay-at-home dad home-schooling my children. I have been a college professor for over 5 years. I am skilled at helping students through problems, getting caught up, or deepening their understanding. Physics is an equation driven subject. By focusing on the foundation of each equation, a student can understand how to manipulate the problem and find the path to the correct answer.

I have a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. My major was Biochemistry. My minor was Math. I have been a professor for over 5 years. Math has always been a passion of mine. Trigonometry is the study triangles and their properties. I have had great success teaching these principles in a way that is memorable and easy to apply.


ACT Math

I have been a college professor for over 5 years. The Math portion of the ACT relies on speed and recognition of needed equations. My math ACT preparation builds on the math that the student knows and prepares them for material that they may have not seen yet. I have material and have taught courses on all four of the ACT exam subjects (English, Reading, Science and Math). I do both group and individual sessions.


ACT Science

I have been a professor of chemistry for over 5 years. The science reasoning portion of the ACT is more about strategy and practice than it is about understanding scientific concepts. I have conducted ACT prep courses in all four of the exam subjects.


Organic Chemistry

I was in the Ph.D. program at the University of Minnesota - Twin cities. My field of study was Organic Chemistry. I left the program before my dissertation defense with a Master's. This is commonly called Ph.D. (abd).
