A little bit about myself, my name is Matthew Liang and I am a third year veterinary student at the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to graduate school I worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Ecology & Evolutionary Biology Department and the Life Science Core Curriculum Department at UCLA. The main class I taught at UCLA was LS 1 (ecology evolution and biodiversity) and has much overlap in material with BIS 2A.
I was an anatomy TA for a class called vertebrate morphology in the EEB department at UCLA. This class had a lecture and lab component where we dissected a cat and shark and learned about various body systems (ie skeletal, muscular, urogenital, nervous, gastrointestinal, vascular).
I recently took the GRE for admittance into veterinary school and scored in the 88th percentile. Additionally, I spent the last year and a half working as an in home tutor mostly teaching math to students from 7th grade to seniors in high school.
