Study Skills

As an Associate Professor at University of Denver for nearly 20 years, I have coached many students about how to discover and use their personal learning styles to their best advantage. This may mean that a student needs to discover the value of studying a particular subject, needs to develop more disciplined study habits, and most importantly, needs to develop his or her personal connection to a particular subject.

Video Production

I have taught all aspects of film and video production and television studies at the University of Denver as an Associate Professor since 1995. I have produced and directed 16 films that have screened and won awards at Sundance Film Festival, San Francisco Int'l Film Festival, New York Int'l Film Festival and New Orleans Film Festival - among many others. My teaching evaluations from D.U. are available upon request.

College Counseling

Students I have mentored have been accepted to N.Y.U., Columbia University, Northwestern University, Vassar, Yale, U.C. Berkeley, C.U. Boulder, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), etc.

ADHD

As a Professor at University of Denver for nearly 20 years, I have worked with ADD and ADHD students on a constant basis, giving them one on one assistance with their learning, writing, reading and study skills, and collaborating with D.U.'s Learning Effectiveness Program to ensure their academic success.

Dyslexia

As a Professor at University of Denver for nearly 20 years, I have worked with dyslexic students on a constant basis, giving them one on one assistance with their reading and writing skills and collaborating with D.U.'s Learning Effectiveness Program to ensure their academic success.
