I am a freelance tutor in various subjects, and I have worked in the field of education for over 11 years. During my first year of teaching, I taught special education with an emphasis in mathematics. Since then, I have worked hard within my general education classroom to make accommodations and modifications for students with IEPs. I also teach with all types of learners in mind, and I make sure that I reteach material or tutor students if necessary.
I have a B.S. Degree in Plant and Soil Science from Alabama A&M University. I studied Horticulture abroad at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University in Copenhagen, Denmark my Junior year in college. I've taken many courses on classification, and I teach my students botany objectives with our school garden.
