Career Development

As Harvard Medical School Graduate, I have been subjected to the rigorous selection processes used by schools in order to select applicants for medical school. More often than not, first-hand know-how is the most valuable resource when choosing and being 9 in a competitive field of study. Being in the last stage of training, I can know offer an all-encompassing perspective that will allow my pupils to make strides in their journey and feel confident in their choices. I have been involved in Career Coaching for 7 years, specialize in scientific career development and will be able to offer insight at every level my student's development. In addition to having advised numerous students on an individual basis, I have been invited to give small career lectures in UPR Mayaguez campus and through numerous high schools in Puerto Rico. I also was in the organizing committee for Latino Medical Student Association Conference, which sought to increase the representation of underrepresented groups in Biomedicine through seminars and recruitment fairs. In our year, over 5000 attendees ranging from high school seniors to medical students, benefited from our offerings.
