I have been a certified Special Education in Indiana for the past six years. I work at a School Corporation and my current employer is a Special Education Cooperative in Indiana. I have been tutoring students after school as a Homebound Instructor for the past four to six years. I am certified to teach all classes (High Qualified in Math, Science, Social Studies, and English).
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
I am a certified Special Education Teacher in Indiana with an endorsement in Mild Interventions which includes Autism. I currently teach Reading, Writing, Math, and Social Skills to four Autistic students in high school on a daily basis. I have received training in Applied Behavioral Analysis to teach Autistic students alternative replacement behaviors to address academic, cognitive, social, play, gross/fine motor, and adaptive living skills. My lessons include time, money, reading, making purchases at the store, and role playing social skills to improve communication skills.
