Hi! I'm really excited to be a tutor on WyzAnt and am looking forward to meeting many new students. My tutoring experience began as a high school student, when I was always willing and able to help my friends and classmates with their math work. It continued in college at The Ohio State University, where I furthered my experience by helping friends and fellow students with math, economics and finance problems. Study Skills

I've accumulated many effective and easy-to-use study skills and strategies over my years of juggling large class loads in college and as a tutor for several years. Many of these can be learned in a matter of minutes, and will help you to better comprehend and remember the material you're reading or working with. For example, I've learned through my Master's of Education courses that translating newly learned material into your own words helps to cement it into your long-term memory, while also furthering your understanding of it. Additionally, this technique helps to identify parts of the material that you do not understand so that further research on those specific parts can be done before moving on.

Econometrics

As part of the coursework I took while obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, I took several econometrics courses. I loved them and I love the subject! I'm very knowledgeable with basic and advanced principles of econometrics, including: the statistics behind the subject, hypothesis testing, modeling, error recognition and reconciliation, and many more.
