I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1993 with a major in Biology, sub-specialty in Molecular Biology. I have minors in Chemistry and History. I served 11 years in the U.S. Army Reserve. I have a great amount of experience instructing inclusion science courses. One of my goals was to help the students get organized by using specific tools such as a table of contents for their notebook. I would also use other study aids such as: flash cards, outlines, and/or, portfolios. I or my team teacher would make certain the students were using the tools we gave them access to.

I have a BS in Biology from Kennesaw State University. The sub-courses I focused on were in the field of Ecology, Evolution, Taxonomy, and systematics. I also have experience instructing Zoology via online and direct instruction methods. I have created numerous student resources which could be utilized to enhance instruction.
Over the course of my 15 years in education I have had the opportunity to co-author the curriculum of several Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) courses. These curriculum were developed for the CTAE division of the Georgia Department of Education. I also had the opportunity to instruct the Agricultural Biotechnology curriculum. Throughout the years I always worked closely with the Technology colleges in Georgia. Many of the technical colleges offered opportunities my special ed and regular ed students could take advantage of.

I have an undergraduate minor in Chemistry which includes four Organic Chemistry courses with labs and two Biochemistry courses with labs. I have credit for two graduate level chemistry courses. I was also a research assistant at the Savannah River Ecology Lab in the field of BioGeoOrganic Chemistry. I have extensive experience with many analytical techniques and the underlying theory.
I have an undergraduate minor in History as well as military history and strategy taken while in the US Army Reserve. I have been a students of history for most of my life and have studied many aspects of history and political science. I am well informed and have visited many historically significant sites in the US.
