As a college graduate, I have written over hundreds of APA-formatted papers and had some of the highest grades in the class. I am available to proof-read research and professional writings at all learning levels. The proofreading process will be interactive so that you may learn from your mistakes and become more independent in your writing. I am also available to proof nursing works such as care plans and such.

I am a registered nurse with over four years clinical experience, currently tutoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Tutoring includes all medical-surgical subjects, fundamentals, psychiatric nursing, pharmacology, HESI, and NCLEX-prep. Lessons will focus on core content, critical thinking, and practice questions with test-taking skills and strategy.

I am a registered nurse with over four years of clinical experience and have been tutoring for the past five years. Students are able to answer questions with more ease and see improvement during the weeks in preparation after routine lessons. I am available to evaluate your test plan, weaknesses, and strengths, and work on test-taking skills and content to assist at making your scores the highest possible, so that you pass the NCLEX with success on the first attempt!

Study Skills

Many students are great at doing their own methods of studying, but realize that after test-taking may not receive the results they were expecting. As a tutor, it is my job to evaluate your studying methods, and to help rework the way you are preparing for a test. Currently I help with evaluating study habits for professional exams such as NCLEX, HESI, ATI, and USMLE.

Career Development

As a registered nurse, who is familiar with many disciplines inside the hospital, and how to achieve goals as a college student, I can help with career planning. I am able to provide resources and a guide on how to go about applying to colleges at the undergraduate and graduate level, and also how to obtain financial aid and scholarships doing so. In the past I started out in an associate's degree program, then moved to an RN to BSN program, and now am currently enrolled in a Master's plan. I will have completed all of these studies within 5 years, which may take some 10 years to complete due to poor guidance and career planning. Even if healthcare is not your field of choice, I can assist with making guided decisions.

I have been tutoring pharmacology for the past 4 years. Pharmacology tutoring lesson will cover: nursing management and application of drug classes, contraindications, patient teaching, mechanisms, storage of medication, medication safety, and information about the drug, regulations, and safety. We will also focus on signs and symptoms of toxicity for certain drugs, pregnancy category safety, antidotes for treating overdose, and patient teaching. Medication math can be covered as well if needed in addition to the teaching of medications and the pharmacology.

As a registered nurse for over four years, who practices independently inside the emergency department at multiple NYC hospitals, I have learned a lot of information that is at the provider level of diagnosing and ordering diagnostic testing at a high level of care. I am versed in test-taking skills and medical content, and can assist on focusing at the key themes within the test questions for the USMLE program.
