I have been tutoring chemistry for the past five years. In high school, it was one of my favorite subjects which led to me getting a minor in it in college. Chemistry can be daunting to students with the combination of science and math. Through my method of teaching, students will learn that chemistry does not have to be scary. The best way to learn this subject is to do practice, practice, practice. I start my lesson my doing an example and then the student tries it on their own will assistance. This way, they gain the confidence of doing the problems on their own.

Because of this, I know what colleges are looking for and I can help other students give the best applications they can. The colleges I got into include Johns Hopkins, Georgia Tech, NYU, Duke, University of Miami, and others.

I have been a full time homeschool teacher for the past year. I worked with a 5th grade student in all subjects, including math, science, grammar, English, reading, social studies, and writing. I enjoyed turning the daily lessons into fun and exciting projects, which motivate my students to learn. I am able to tailor my lessons to the needs and wants of a particular student in the homeschool setting.
