I teach geometry which uses a lot of algebra. I have also tutored numerous students in order to do well on the Algebra 1 end of course exams.
I am an AP Calculus AB/BC teacher.
I am very familiar with the SAT math test as I often tutor my own students for their SATs.
In my time before becoming a math teacher, I was a tutor at Florida International University and this was a subject that I would tutor at least two to three times per week during my years as a tutor. I am very familiar with all the topics involved in the class. I am also the sponsor for my school's math honor society and I teach those students man of the topics covered in this class.
I have taken differential equations at both the undergraduate and graduate level. I tutored at FIU for many years and would often tutor students for this class. Now as a high school AP Calculus teacher I also teach the topic of differential equations.
I have tutored many of my past high school students in this course when they went to take it as undergraduates. I am familiar with all the topics and theorems covered int his course. I have worked through two linear algebra textbooks so I feel like I could successfully tutor someone in this subject.
During my time as a math tutor at Florida International University I would tutor students for this course every day of the week. During my time as a tutor I went through all the chapters multiple times. I am very familiar with this course and it's content.
