I have an BS, MS and PhD in a botanically related fields. I also worked professionally (for over 10 years) and published papers in botany. I taught numerous botanical courses at Utah State University and University of Illinois. I have at least 60 semester hours of Botany and Ecology. I understand cultivated plants, plant systematics, plant identification, plant anatomy and molecular biology of plants. I also worked as an Assistant Curator at the Intermountain Herbarium and the Worldwide Collection of the Triticeae.
