Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations Tutor

I hail from the University of Southern California, where I double majored in Mathematics and Physics. With my background, I have completed the hours Wyzant has logged for me in subjects such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Physics, and Chemistry. My tutoring experience also includes my employment as a Level III Tutor at East Los Angeles College (from 2008-2015) with the same subjects. In addition, I have also worked as a Mathematics Supplemental Instructor, where I prepar... [more]

Calculus

Calculus I, II, and III are the courses I tutor the most. My experience with this course dates back to 2008 as a tutor at East Los Angeles College. Moreover, I have tutored all three courses to MESA STEM majors. I was also a Supplemental Instructor for Multivariable Calculus for three semesters. Finally, my experience with this course also includes work as a Teacher?s Assistant at a high school and know how it is taught in the classroom.

Differential Equations

I have tutored this subject through two different departments at East Los Angeles College. I first tutored this subject through the Learning Assistance Center. I worked at the Learning Center for four semesters. The second department where I tutored this course was through MESA. Moreover, I was employed as a Supplemental Instructor through, yet another, department at ELAC. The name of the Program is called the Supplemental Instruction Program. As a student, I have taken two courses on Differential Equations. My first at U.C. Berkeley and my second at the University of Southern California. The course at Berkeley was a lower division requirement for the upper division course I took at USC.

Linear Algebra

My experience with this courses is similar to that of Differential Equations, that is, I have tutored this subject through two different departments at East Los Angeles College. Again, I first tutored this subject through the Learning Assistance Center where I worked for four semesters. The second department where I tutored this course was through MESA. Moreover, I was employed as a Supplemental Instructor for this course by the Supplemental Instruction Program at ELAC.
