Career Development

I have experience teaching college undergraduates, which included public speaking and development of presentations. Additionally, I have experience helping students prepare for graduate school interviews. I have helped students think through different career paths, apply for jobs, request recommendation letters, and write cover letters. Finally, I'm receiving my PhD in clinical psychology, and have several behavioral and cognitive strategies to help individuals overcome anxieties related to professional development---not as a psychologist, but in general, as a tutor.

College Counseling

I am a doctoral student at Harvard University, studying clinical psychology. During my time at Harvard I have mentored several students both undergraduate and graduate students about future career and education plans. I have helped students with resumes and CVs, looking for jobs and deciding what types of jobs might best help them achieve their goals. Additionally I have experience working with students completing applications for graduate school, counseling them around appropriate fits, researching programs, and writing essays that reflect them and their goals.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Throughout my doctoral training I have worked with a variety of children with emotional and behavioral problems as well as psychiatric disorders, including children with autism. I have formal training in behavior therapy as well as diagnostic training for autism spectrum disorders. I have also done informal ABA work with children with autism around social skills, completing homework, organization, and day-to-day routine activities using behavioral plans and reinforcement techniques.
