I sat for the July 2014 California Bar Exam and the February 2015 Pennsylvania Bar Exam. I passed each on my first attempt and scored well in excess of the average. Prior to sitting for the California Bar, I took a full review course and the optional course that my law school provided. To prepare for the Pennsylvania Bar, I completed another full review course. Given my recent and extensive exposure to the material and the test taking process, I would be an excellent resource to someone looking to take the bar exam in the near future.
I took every logic based class my university had to offer and excelled in each. My philosophy degree focused on logic. During my classes, I tutored other students on the subject. Additionally, I am currently a lawyer and therefore utilize logic in every aspect of my job. I find that have a knack for breaking down logic problems and explaining them to students so that they can understand how to solve similar problems on their own.
I am a current lawyer and recently graduated from law school where I excelled in criminal law classes. I also currently work in the criminal justice system which gives me a unique insight into the real life workings of the subject. While in law school I helped many of my fellow students understand criminal law topics. My ability to break down the requirements as well as explain the underlying purpose of criminal justice rules make me an excellent tutor in the subject.
I am qualified to tutor in political science because I majored in political science in college. I took honors political science classes and did very well in all of them. I also completed my international law certificate with honors while in law school which deals greatly with political science. While in college and law school, I tutored students in lower level political science classes. I also helped explain concepts to my fellow students in my political science classes. As such, I believe I would be an excellent tutor in political science.
