I have helped my daughter and some of her friends with algebra; I also tutor biology and chemistry courses and, sometimes algebraic concepts are very useful especially describing metric conversions, rate of the reactions and probability outcomes. I enjoy tutoring students one on one; it makes me feel really special and accomplished when I see that student gains confidence and knowledge and is no longer afraid of the math, but actually enjoys tackling the problems and solving it.

I have been teaching and tutoring Anatomy and Physiology courses for several years at the universities and community colleges in the Washington, DC area. Most of my students plan to enroll in nursing programs and this is one of the most challenging courses they have to take. I stress the importance of conceptual understanding of the material and also help students to learn and memorize numerous facts about body anatomy and physiology.
