Effective and patient Horn, Brass, Vocal, and Language Arts Instructor

For 25 years I taught a private studio of Horn students in Louisville/Lexington, KY with my students consistently earning All-State, All-District, and Superior honors in Kentucky. I successfully taught reading, Language Arts, Social Studies, Grammar, Band, and Chorus at Classical Christian School for the Arts in Pinellas Park from 2008 to 2013 for grades 4-12.

I have successfully taught reading and language arts for 16+ years at a variety of private and charter schools. The following schools are listed as prior classes I have taught writing and grammar/language arts: P.M. Music Theory

I have been a successful Band/Chorus Director since 1997 in Florida and KY. I have taught Music Theory, Band, Chorus, and guitar from 2008 to 2013 for grades 4-12. Additionally, I was Band and Chorus Director as well as music theory and appreciation instructor in Sarasota, FL in 2013-14. I most recently was Music Professor at a Charter School in Riverview, FL reaching music theory, general music, chorus, and piano from 2014-2015, and am a member of the National Association for Music Education, the Florida Music Educators Association, the Florida Bandmasters Association, the Florida Vocal Association, and a former member of the Kentucky Music Educators Association.

Trombone

I have taught private low brass students for 25+ years. My students have regularly achieved Superior ratings in the KMEA solo/ensemble festivals and the FBA solo/ensemble MPAs in addition to numerous All State performers. I studied Applied Music in Horn studies at the Universities of Louisville and Kentucky along with studies in brass pedagogy. My private studio has produced numerous All State performers and superior ratings in Solo and Ensemble Music Performance Assessments on horn, trumpet, trombone, and tuba in Kentucky and Florida. I studied Applied Music in Horn studies at the Universities of Louisville and Kentucky and my professional resume includes Principal Horn in several orchestras.


French Horn
