I am an avid scholar of English, both literature and language. As an English major in college, I read texts both old and new. I?ve analyzed countless of readings and written hundreds of pages on said literature. I spend a good deal of my downtime with my head buried in a book, either for fun or to determine if that text might fit into my English curriculum for the fall semester. As a credential student, I?ve spent this past year learning about how the brain processes spoken and written language and the implications of that processing. I?ve worked alongside students who have a range of learning disabilities and have helped them to grow their confidence in this area.
