I received a B.S. and M. Sc. degree in Computer Sciences from Universidad Central de Las Villas (UCLV), Cuba, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. Since 2005, I have been in the Center of Studies on Electronic and Information Technologies (CEETI) as Auxiliary Professor. His research interests are Image Processing and Pattern Recognition applied to Biomedical Applications. I have taught the following undergraduate courses: Mathematical Analysis, Calculus, Algebra, Numerical Analysis, Probabilit... [more]
More than 12 years teaching statistics courses.
Matlab (Matrix Laboratory) is a multi-paradigm language that is used, mainly, in technical computing. As Matlab teacher, I try to teach not only the basis of the language and its toolboxes, but also the way to well-use other capabilities of the language, e. g. using the built-in functions, reusing codes written in other languages (C/C++, or Fortran), using the multithreading capabilities of modern computers, etc. I have taught Matlab for more than 8 years at UCLV (Cuba) in both, undergraduate and graduate levels.
