My philosophy is to provide step by step instruction while helping guide students' thinking so that they can develop a deep understanding of the concepts. I believe that it is crucial for all students to have a strong foundation in Algebra 1 before they move to more advanced topics.

The ACT reading section is one of the most difficult sections for students to master. Mastering this section requires excellent close reading skills, quick decision making, and an understanding of what each question is testing. I believe in teaching reading and speed reading skills alongside of strategies. All of the students that I have tutored in ACT Reading have significantly improved their scores using my method.
