As a writer (with a degree in Creative Writing), I have an expansive vocabulary. As a tutor, I have worked with many high school and college students on issues of diction and syntax in papers of a variety of academic fields -- from English to Philosophy, Psychology, and beyond.
As a student of writing, I have had 4+ years of instruction in grammar at the college level, and more than 6 years at the secondary ed level. I frequently encounter grammar and proofreading issues with students in my professional tutoring experience.
As I possess a degree in Creative Writing, I am well-read in many schools of literature, especially contemporary fiction and some poetry. Critically, I have read a wide range of literature, both fiction and nonfiction, for a variety of courses in my time as a college student. I have tutored for reading-intensive courses at both the high school and college levels, including several English, Reading, and Communications courses at Onondaga Community College as an Academic Tutor II.
