Theater

I have completed drama programs at the National Theatre Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center in Waterford, Connecticut, as well as abroad at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy. I have produced and written a full-length play at a historic theatre in a major American city. I have a theatre minor from The Johns Hopkins University, where I studied under John Astin (of "The Addams Family" fame).

College Counseling

I have worked for a private company specializing in college admissions counseling, academic counseling, and college consulting since May 2016. My students have been admitted to top schools, including UPenn, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, USC, NYU, and all nine undergraduate UC campuses. I myself went to Johns Hopkins and was awarded scholarships/honors after submitting successful applications, including earning an undergraduate research fellowship at Hopkins, and the Coca Cola Scholarship (one of 250 chosen in the nation).

Classics

I have six years experience as a grade school Latin teacher and an advanced degree in Classics from The Johns Hopkins University. As a classicist and educator, I use derivatives and cognates to increase vocabulary skill in the English language; I incorporate history and other disciplines as well. My goal is to offer students learning tools so that they will become globally competitive learners who make connections across subject areas in life outside the classroom.
