I have taken a wide variety of classes that called upon different studying techniques such as underlining and outlining important information, recording what the professor is saying, and making proper time to study without distractions to understand the material. I was a paid 'Note-taker' for a fellow student at my college and I had to summarize what was said during a lecture into 1-2 pages. I make sure to get an occasional break in between to refresh the mind and I emphasize on questioning what the student is studying/ writing down to gauge their progress and understanding of the material.
