I received my bachelor's degree in biology from UIC and have been tutoring students for 2 years in the subject. I have experience working in labs in the biology field. So, I try my best to make the material understandable using real life examples.
I am passionate about the subject of ecology. It is important to me that I do not teach my students to just memorize the facts but to actually understand the trends in science. This understanding is what helped me gain a deeper insight on how all the subcategories of biology relate to one another.
I have taken 2 semesters of genetics course work at UIC. During my genetics course work, I was taught basic and complex genetic crosses along with genetics on a molecular level. Genetics is a lot of fun to learn once you have a little help. With my past experience in basic genetics, molecular genetics, and lab work in genetics, I should be able to give you the confidence that you need to pass and actually understand genetics.
