I earned my Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language in January 2016. My coursework has been in class as well as online, and has included curriculum development designed to achieve learning objectives. I earned my Master?s degree in Anthropology from San Francisco State University (SFSU) and my Bachelor?s of Arts degree in Anthropology and African American Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). I was a Teaching Assistant at SFSU and at UMCP.
I previously worked as the Museum Specialist for the Presidio Archaeology Lab in San Francisco where I directed the lab's education programs and created artifact exhibits. The educational program I established while there was awarded the California Governor?s Award in 2002. I earned my Master?s degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in Historic Archaeology from San Francisco State University (SFSU).
