I have a bachelor's in Italian literature from the University of Kansas. I taught there about six years in all, first to pay my way through graduate school in Journalism, then later when I wanted a more flexible career after my first child was born. I have taught a variety of group, private, and children's classes and "camps." I love incorporating music and cuisine into my lessons--I even helped an up-and-coming Umbrian chef tour the midwest and teach cooking classes (with me interpreting!) I have family near Rome, in Civita Castellana, and I am passionate about the value learning another language--even a little--can bring to your life and life perspective. Parliamo italiano!
