I am currently an Art History Graduate student at San Jose State University and have been studying this subject for over five years.
As an undergraduate and graduate student, I have taken several classes and seminars in art theory. I am familiar with traditional or classical theories, though I am more proficient with contemporary theories. I also own and have read many books on art theory and keep up to date with contemporary art theorists through magazines such as Art Bulletin.
I have been studying architecture through my art history studies for over 5 years. As a graduate student, I have taken modern architecture classes and have a more solid understanding of 20th century architecture. However, I have also studied structures from the 15th to 17th centuries and can knowledgeably tutor on older architectural periods/styles.
