Hi, I would love to help you learn C, C++ and C# among other languages only if you are serious. Please don't reach out to me if you are not. I treat my students the way I would want to be treated. If you ask for help, please send me your assignment in a Word or PDF file as an attachment in WyzAnt and to give me some background on what problem you are facing. Also, please give me the name of the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) you are using. This is just preliminary work that is no... [more]
I have experience using Windows 10 Pro, Windows 8.1 Pro, Windows 7, Windows Vista, etc.
I have used C++ extensively while working at a mid-sized software company. I wrote and enhanced a variety of reusable classes for many enhancements to a vehicle routing software package (Windows and online version). I have over 10+ years using C++ and MFC with Microsoft Visual Studio (various versions). In addition, I have tutored students at a college that use C++ 11 and the DEV-CPP Integrated Development Environment (IDE). I have logged well over 100+ hours tutoring students at this college.
I used the C language for many projects when I worked at a mid-sized software company. I first read the book on my own time and then took the class at the University of St. Francis and received an A in this course. I have over 15 years using this language professionally. In addition, I did tutor students who are learning the C language at a college. I have 100+ hours tutoring students at this college.
I have been a computer programmer for over 25 years. I have mainly used Microsoft Windows for most of that time, but I do have some UNIX experience. I have used C, C++, Fortran, COBOL and IBM 370 Assembly language. In addition, I use Microsoft Visual Studio, Dev-C++ and CodeBlocks as integrated development environments (IDE's). I have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. To conclude, I am a professional computer science tutor at a local community college where I have received many high reviews from students.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of St. Francis. I had the honor of being inducted Epsilon Delta Pi Honor Society. I have worked professionally for over 26 years in the Transportation Industry. I know a number of different languages including C, C++, C# and Fortran.
I learned Fortran many years ago. When I first started an internship at an engineering company back in December 1986 while I was a Junior in college. One of my first projects among many were to port a huge Fortran computer program from one operating system to another. I had to make sure the output from each of these programs were correct. This program was used to design roadways. In addition, I used Fortran for many years to write routing software as well. Not all of this software was written in Fortran. Other parts were written in C and C++. Honestly, I prefer C++ and C over Fortran since this language dates back to the '60's. However, I am willing to tutor anyone who needs help with Fortran.
Professionally, I have used Microsoft Operating systems since Windows 3.1. That goes back to the mid-1990's. I wrote and developed software using Windows 3.1, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP Professional and Windows 7 Enterprise. Personally, I have used Windows 95, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 Home, Windows, 8.1 Professional and Windows 10 Professional. in addition, I have taken an A+ Certification course that covered Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 Operating System commands and tools used by a System or Network Administrator.
Last year I created a website using ASP.NET Web Forms on the front-end and used ASP.NET MVC 5 for the back office. In addition, I have used C# while working at a software company to write a few tools that I needed to perform my work. My previous employer paid for C# training back around 2009. Also, I have studied C# for the last few years and still use it personally for small projects.
