After Oberlin College and Oberlin Conservatory of Music I've worked in the arts & entertainment industry as a writer for 35+ years with credits for ESPN, Fox Sports, TV Food Network, Pepsi, Casey Family Services, Bayer, IBM and many others. In addition to being a principal writer, my experience also includes ghostwriting and being a script doctor/editor in multiple genres and formats ranging from documentaries to drama to comedy. Many of my assignments, particularly with companies associated with pharmaceuticals, beverages and computer sciences have been highly technical, time sensitive and require laser sharp spelling and grammar.
I received my Actor's Equity card on my first audition with the Kenley Players and then worked for John Kenley for four additional years before relocating to Los Angeles. I also served as the Union Deputy while touring with Kenley Players. My experience also includes producing several plays while based in Los Angeles as well as multiple children's theater musicals for clients such as The May Company, The Higbee Company, The Joseph Horne Company and Determined Productions (Peanuts/Snoopy Products).
I have over 35+ years experience in production as a producer-writer-director with companies such as ESPN, Fox Sports, TV Food Network, Pepsi, Bayer, IBM, Casey Family Services and many others. My interactive television applications have been broadcast on affiliates of every major network including PBS for clients such as Visa, Citibank, GM and others. I have been a guest lecturer and/or panelist on the financing of motion pictures, television and digital media as well as the same for the future of digital media. In addition to standard television production and interactive television production, my experience also includes early test work as a director with high definition television production; conducting some of the earliest HDTV tests in the United States.

I have 35+ years experience in production experience in film and television for companies such as ESPN, Fox Sports, TV Food Network, Pepsi and many others. My background also includes being the former Sr. VP of Programming and Network Operations for Channel America where I oversaw the entire network and reported directly to its Board of Directors.
My first professional assignment was as an audio engineer on a film shoot when I was only 15 years old. I built upon this base experience in a career that's been over 35+ years as a producer-writer-director. While based in Los Angeles, I produced and directed music videos in most genres for Capital, Picture Music International, Polygram and EMI-America. My producer credits also include the syndicated television music series Inside Traxx and Underground USA which have played both domestic and abroad.
