I am a hearing woman who graduated from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf out in Rochester New York with a BS degree in American Sign Language to English Interpretation. I graduated from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS is American Sign Language to English Interpretation. As part of that program, I became fluent in ASL through classes (including Linguistics) and community involvement. I worked as a tutor for students in lower ASL classes while I was there.
