We also cover test taking skills specific to the way this particular test is scored. I have successfully tutored over one dozen students for the ISEE since 2016, helping them reach their goals and achieve their dreams. I would love to do the same for your family!
As a teacher of 15 years, I believe it is important for students to learn to read and write in cursive. When I taught elementary school, I took extra time to reinforce this skill with students who had only been taught to print. Also, I have a son whose writing was illegible at the end of 10th grade. I spent the entire summer reteaching the basics of print using methods I learned in calligraphy.
As a veteran teacher in Texas, I have seen the change from TAAS to TAKS to STAAR and can help students with this assessment based on the changes in how the tests are written. I have taught math from grades 3-10 and reading and writing in grade 4. Since reading is at the heart of all other subjects, I have shown students how to analyze text to gain meaning so that they can answer STAAR questions.
