My passion for tutoring comes from a lifelong love of learning and my genuine appreciation of the importance of education. I have successfully tutored Algebra I multiple times in the past. I have also earned a grade of 99 on the NY regents exam and I have most recently gotten an A in Calculus II, which requires a working knowledge of Algebra I.
I scored a 96 on the NYS Regents Geometry exam that I took in high school.

I scored 710/800 on the SAT Math section.
I scored a 2100 on the SAT overall and a 710 on the Writing section.
I scored a 32 overall on the ACT and a 31 on the English section.

I took a STEM tutoring class which taught me about metacognition and varying learning styles. I also have formed a wide range of study skills while preparing for the SAT, ACT, and AP exams. I have worked with several tutees on study skills in the past and helped them to develop effective study habits.
I am a Biology major and received an A in a genetics class that I took in Fall 2015.
I received an A in a College Level US History Class. Also, I took the AP US history exam and received a 4/5 which I was able to use for elective credit at the university level.
I have been playing French Horn since I was in 4th grade. I was an Alternate for Conference All-state, which is a band for the most talented musicians in New York State. I also played in the New York State Band Director's Association (NYSBDA) honor band as a junior in high school.
