In August 2007, I took the C-PPST in Reading, Writing and Math for the first time in preparation for the student teaching requirement for my M.Ed degree. I scored above average on all 3 test. In September 2007, I took the Praxis test for the English/Language Arts/Literature: Content Knowledge and passed on my first attempt. During my student teaching rotation, I proceeded to pass the subsequent Pedagogy and Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) for grades 7-12 Praxis exams on my first attempt. I earned an exceptional score on the PLT exam and was awarded the ETS Recognition of Excellence certificate.
