Howdy! My name is John and being an Aggie in the engineering department allowed me to cultivate my long-existing appreciation of tutoring and helping others. I have been tutoring since I was 13 years old, and what I have been able to achieve after tutoring 500+ students since starting college, is the ability to relate the study material from closely-related majors to ones that aren't so. Most importantly, it is important if you are reading thus far, to understand that I will not be doing... [more]

Algebra 1

I have gained such an intrinsic understanding of Algebra and mathematics, that I am able to identify why someone else doesn't understand certain materials. I enjoy both helping students understand the material and achieve better grades.

Logic

I have taken the logic course at Texas A&M University and was the top scorer, due to the innate understanding. So much so, that the professor, Doctor Dwayne Raymond, specifically assigned me as the SI Leader and tutor of that class for the next few years. Cumulatively, I have tutored well over 200 students, at least 50 of them being one-on-one, in the course.

Mechanical Engineering

I am a nuclear engineering student who works at an accelerator lab and so I am required to be up-to-date with mechanical engineering topics that I have taken in class such as statics and dynamics, thermodynamics and etc. I have also done very well in those classes at Texas A&M university.
