During my undergraduate years, I worked as a physics and mathematics tutor at the math help center for about two years. I was majoring in mathematics and graduated with a BS in mathematics with a minor in materials science and engineering. As an MS student in Mathematics I became a teaching assistant for Algebra and Pre-Calculus classes for one year. I was also tutoring students who needed help with calculus and linear algebra. I am currently a PhD student and research assistant in Chemical E... [more]
I have MS in math and I have experience in teaching and tutoring math to college students.
I have a MS in mathematics. I have worked as a teaching assistant and as a math tutor for many years during my undergraduate and graduate years. I have tutored different areas of math including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 , and Algebra 2 for students from different age groups.
I have BS and MS in Mathematics. I have worked as a tutor and teaching assistant for college students during my undergraduate and graduate years. Since my major was in Real Analysis, I have a deep understanding of Calculus and a strong ability to tutor it. Being a PhD student in the field of engineering, I can easily apply knowledge of calculus to real life examples, which will help my students better understand calculus and its importance in real life.
I have a BS and MS in Mathematics. As an undergraduate student, I have worked as a tutor at the math help center at my college and helped students better understand different math concepts specially Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. As a graduate student I worked as a teaching assistant in these subjects too and continued to tutor students from different levels and age groups till these days. I will be glad to tutor you Pre-Algebra and help you master the subject.
During my undergraduate years of college, I worked as a tutor in the math help center and gained a good tutoring experience in pre-calculus classes. As a MS student, I worked as a teaching assistant for Pre-calculus classes.
I have a MS in mathematics and have many years of experience in tutoring different areas of math to students from different age groups. SAT math is very straight forward and I can help students be well prepared for the test by teaching them the subject and solve some challenging problems to ensure their understanding of the subject.
I have BS and MS in mathematics. I have worked as a teaching assistant and a tutor for more than 6 years during my college years. As for the past 8 years, I have been helping my friends' kids with their elementary math to help them succeed and obtain high grades. I have helped my third grade son to score in the 99% in the mathematics part of MAP test and receive gifted services in math. The main trick to is interest kids in math and make learning math fun for them by making them realize the importance of math in real life and help them apply it to their every day life.
I have BS and MS in Mathematics. My major study area was Real Analysis which gave me the ability to fully understand where equations come from and how to derive them, which is a very important knowledge needed in teaching Differential Equations (DE). Also, being a PhD student in Chemical Engineering, much of my work requires understanding of DE to understand the kinetics and thermodynamics of the systems I work with in laboratory.
As an undergraduate student, I took Electrical Engineering and Materials Engineering courses for my minors. I took Electrical Circuits and Digital Logic and got A in both classes. Most of the undergraduate electrical engineering courses need strong mathematical background which I gained through all the math courses I've taken for my major. I believe I can easily teach many electrical engineering classes when following a textbook assigned to students that I will tutor. I have tutored many of my classmates when I was taking Electrical Circuits and Digital Logic and I loved doing so!
