Part of my education in my undergraduate and graduate degrees was aimed at receiving and understanding basic and advanced nutritional principles that would better help me manage my patients and their success. I have taken it upon myself to self study as to increase my knowledge over the years to better help my strength and physique athletes. This is evident based on their success in competition and on stage.
I obtained my CSCS from the National Strength and Conditioning Association while attending St. Ambrose university. I used and continue to use this certification as well as my degrees in exercise science and strength and human performance to train national level physique and strength athletes. My secondary degree in physical therapy leaves me with an increased knowledge and level of experience pertaining to fitness and performance as well as the rehabilitation.
