I am a biology researcher. I'm not only interested in the sciences, though--I went to the University of Maryland, where I received bachelor's degrees in both history and biology. I have a degree in history, with a focus on American history, from the University of Maryland. I wrote an honor's thesis on the foundation and early years of the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
I have a degree in general biology from the University of Maryland. I have worked as a research assistant in a neuroimmunology laboratory, a private research firm, and a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration laboratory.
I have developed my study skills through a lifetime as a student. I ultimately earned a BS in Biology and a BA in History, so I know and can teach the skills needed to succeed in the humanities and the sciences.
