W3C Certified HTML Developer
I have over 20 years experience working in digital media - producing websites for companies like Sony, Haagen-Dazs, VisitBritain, London & Partners among many others. I'm proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, Excel VBA; Solid working knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop git, subversion, Fogbugz, Redmine, latest email clients, and social media management tools.
I have used Dreamweaver in the past for creating websites and although I have moved on to other HTML IDEs (i.e. Notepad++, Atom) I can tutor students who are working with Dreamweaver. In my experience, most students will be required to use the HTML editor (as opposed to the WYSIWYG drag and drop editor) in Dreamweaver to create their website projects. Typically issues tend to be with proper HTML syntax, file structure etc. At that level HTML is HTML no matter what editor you're using.
